The gardens were beautifully maintained, making for a serene oasis for relaxation with accessible pathways for leisurely strolls.

Better air conditioning for warmer nights would be ideal.

The stay included a room larger than expected, featuring a wonderful view and comfortable bed. The wide variety at breakfast pleased everyone, especially with tasty cold dishes available. noise from outside was noticeable until late evening, and while the pool area was well-maintained, it felt crowded at times. The gym and sauna added nice touches but could benefit from better operational hours.

This was just a balanced option for a getaway in Funchal with incredible value for money. The location is quite convenient, with a bus stop right outside and shops within walking distance. Make sure to check the floor numbers as they can be a bit confusing due to the slope of the terrain.

Traffic noise can be bothersome, often continuing well into the evening, which might disrupt the calm you’re looking for. Some furniture in the rooms showed signs of wear and tear, which could use an update, and simple amenities like kettles were missing in the kitchenette setups, making it inconvenient for those wanting a cozy hot drink. The indoor pool has limited hours, which may not accommodate late-night swimmers, and the evening entertainment can become repetitive quite quickly.

As a landscape photographer, I cherished my stay in this lovely studio. Beautifully maintained gardens provided stunning backdrops for my photos, while the spacious room offered a serene retreat. Although evening entertainment could use some variety, my dining experiences featured a fantastic breakfast spread that kept me energized for my adventures.

I had a fab time here! The room was super spacious and had an awesome balcony with stunning views. The breakfast spread was tasty, especially the pastries! Staff were so friendly, always ready to help. One thing though, the pool area could get a bit crowded. Still a lovely stay overall!
